Uglyhead - Disembodied - Clear Vinyl
About the vinyl version:
12" Clear vinyl that includes a black lined paper sleeve, 12" 2 sided full color insert with lyrics, credits and bonus album artwork in a gloss full color jacket (3mm spine) and a deluxe/thick plastic sleeve. The vinyl version features a bonus track: "Follow Me" which is a cover of a song from legendary Seattle band Kill Switch...Klick. This track is exclusive to this vinyl version of Disembodied and is not available digitally.
This vinyl version will start shipping June 2nd (or maybe earlier).
About the album:
A collection of songs about ghosts, invisibility and bottomless pits.. I recorded these songs in 2019 with mostly hardware synths, bass guitar and got Galen Waling to play drums on the title track. I played 1 show to support it and got travel to a few film festivals where the videos for "Disembodied" and the "the funhole" won awards. Suddenly a worldwide pandemic happened and all the avenues of promoting it died. I feel like this weird album never really had a chance to reach very many people so I am re-releasing it on vinyl and will be supporting the release with shows/touring later this year. Hopefully Disembodied will finally find it's audience and people can experience it as it was originally intended!
